Business Analyst - PEPAC

We’re looking to hire a Business Analyst to PEPAC  to join meaningful digital transformation projects in the European Funds and Investments sector namely in the agriculture sector.

Agriculture has a set of European Union funds, called PEPAC, which allow supporting the sector in two models, investment support and direct support (FEADER and FEAGA).
Our client wants to build a new system that supports the entire life cycle of the management of these funds, from the opening of notices, to the submission of applications, their analysis, decision and finally sending to the paying agency. The goal is to create a multi-fund, multi-program, multi-managing entity system, allowing the entire management of PEPAC mainland, Azores and Madeira.

Required Competences:
  • +3 years of experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Previous experience gathering requirements and business processes and sharing them with the client and development team.
  • Critical sense to reflect on requirements and processes and challenge them.
  • Ability to systematize, present and discuss requirements with the team and client.
  • Experience in SQL (mandatory)
  • Experience in functional and technical analysis
  • Follow-up of implementation and testing teams
  • Availability for a hybrid model (3 days per week on-site at the client in downtown Lisbon)
Preferred Competencies:
  • Ease of relationship and communication with different stakeholders (customers, team).
  • Forethought, with the capacity to identify and minimize risks.
  • Experience in Design Thinking methodology.
  • Identification of business opportunities in line with the work being carried out at the client.
